Natalie Porter is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal with almost 20 years of law firm experience. In 2020, she founded Apricus Paralegal Group with the mission to innovate the practice of paralegalism and help transform the way lawyers work. Natalie has a special interest in helping attorneys build scalable and sustainable law practices that improve North Carolinians' access to justice. She is proud to serve her community and profession as the Education Chair of the Legal Assistants Division of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and as a member of the Pro Bono and Communications Committees of the North Carolina Bar Association's Paralegal Division. In 2021, she was one of only 12 inductees into the inaugural paralegal class of the North Carolina Pro Bono Honor Society. Natalie demonstrates her commitment to elevating the paralegal profession through continuing education, public service, and mentorship. She lives in Winston-Salem, NC, with her husband Ben, a Board-Certified State and Federal Criminal Law Specialist, and their two young children.
